Professor Richard Jesse participated in a two-day workshop for the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government Agriculture Commission.  The workshop was held in Shanghai, China, November 8-9, 2004.  The Agriculture Commission has plans to develop a Shanghai International Agricultural Products Trade Center, and Professor Jesse made a presentation on “Distribution Center Development: Warehouse Design” at the workshop.  Also participating in the workshop were presenters from the World Bank, the Maryland Food Center Authority, and CB Richard Ellis.
