Dr. Matthew A. Wilson, Assistant Research Professor with the School of Business Administration and the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics, has had a manuscript accepted for publication.  This article, entitled, "Rethinking the Scope Test as a Criterion for Validity in Contingent Valuation" is co-authored by T. A. Heberlein, M. A.  Wilson, R. C. Bishop, and N. C. Schaeffer.  It will be published by The Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, http://www.econ.iastate.edu/jeem, and will appear online by January, 2005 and in print during the summer of 2005.
