- Adjusting your Junkmail Settings in Outlook
You can adjust the junk e-mail settings within outlook, to tell it who and who is not allowed to send e-mails to your inbox.
- Connecting From Off Campus
First and foremost you need an internet connection.
- Contacts-view personal contacts
To view your personal contacts in Outlook, you need to add the Outlook Address Book to your profile.
- Use a Password, TODAY!
USE THEM!!!
A recent phenomenon occuring on our campus is the practice of not using a password to log into a computer.
- Removing your E-mail Forward
If you had your Zoo E-Mail forwarded to your business school e-mail account while you were a student, you can easily remove the forward by taking the following steps:
Go to http://www.uvm.edu/account
Click on 'Set up your mail handling'
Enter your Zoo User name and Password
Select the Create/Update/Remove mail forwarding Radio Button and click submit
Click on the Delete button
That's all.

To fix the problem that has come up in which the UVM VPN Client stops connecting after Windows XP Service Pack 2 has been installed, follow these instructions.

To check your Business School Electronic Mail from anywhere in the world, go to http://bsadmail.uvm.edu.

- Wireless Network?
All WiFi devices require the UVM VPN Client to access the UVM sanctioned WiFi Network, Cat's PAWSHave you installed the
University of Vermont VPN client? If not:
Go to www.uvm.edu/software
Select Cisco VPN Client and click Download
Select Open from Current Location.
- Enabling your Wireless Card and Authenticating to the Network
To Enable Your Wireless NIC Card in Windows XP:
Go to Start Menu - (Settings in Classic View) - Control Panel - Network Connections
{You May see "Network and Internet Connections" and then Network Connections}
In this Window, you should a "Wireless Network Card"
Right Click this Icon and select "Enable"
To Authenticate against the UVM Firewall for the Wireless Network:
The Client Application (The University of Vermont VPN Client) should Auto-initiate when your Wireless Card is enabled and On-Campus.
