In anticipating the next major trend of computing, the School of Business Administration is able to support all state of the art wireless devices including PDA's with 802.11B Wi-Fi cards, Tablet PC's and any device with a network interface card.

The real hurdle of this technology is that the UVM Wireless Network is protected by a firewall.  This firewall requires wireless devices to authenticate and prove that they are a UVM community member.  This hurdle can be overcome through the use of a third party software product.
