Students in entrepreneurship will learn about the imaginative process that underlies all successful entrepreneurial decision making and will discuss examples where imagination led individuals to develop remarkably successful ventures. They will learn to develop their own creative and entrepreneurial impulses, along with learning a set of tools to help them turn their ideas into a feasible plan and onto a success venture.
The entrepreneurship concentration is unique in its structure. Students will complete 12 credits (in total) upon consultation with and sign-off by Professor Amy Tomas, 208 Kalkin Hall, 656-4711,

When you graduate, you are prepared to embark on many career paths. Some students will launch their own businesses or join a family business. Others will choose to work for a company for a couple of years before they begin their own entrepreneurial ventures. Still other students will join large corporations who seek entrepreneurs to provide business expertise as the company explores new markets, diversifies, and/or develops its own intrapreneurships, entrepreneurial ventures within a large corporation.
