What are typical class sizes at UVM and in the School of Business?

Even our entry level accounting courses average only 37 students, although they range from sections of 7 students (at 8:00 am) to 60 students (at 2:10 pm). If you are willing to wake up early, you can easily get small class sizes for most courses.

Typically they are smaller than at large Universities and larger than at small Colleges.
During your first year you will take classes at the University that may range in size from 25 (English composition) to 250 (entry level science courses).
Your required business courses are typically 40-50 students, while business electives are kept at 40 and below, and frequently have fewer than 15 students.
More specifically, this Fall over 60% of electives on campus have fewer than 20 students enrolled.
