Congratulations to the Class of 2008!
Mr. Colodny served on the School's Board of Advisors from 1993 to 2004. He also served as Interim President of The University of Vermont from 2001 to 2002. His unique perspective on business and academia, as well as his experience, has served us well.
Previously, Mr. Colodny served as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington and, prior to his leadership of non-profits, was Chairman of the Board of Comsat Corporation and spent a decade Of Counsel to the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky and Walker in the Washington, D.C. office.
In his 34-year career with US Airways, Colodny started as an Assistant to the President and worked his way up to President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.
Mr. Colodny currently is Of Counsel to the firm of Dinse, Knapp & McAndrew, P.C, Burlington, Vermont. He also enjoys being Chairman of the Fletcher Allen Health Care Foundation Board, a member of the boards of Vermont Law School, the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, and the advisory board of the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile (Naples, FL.)
 Mr. Colodny is a native of Burlington, Vermont, and resides with his wife, Nancy, in Burlington, as well as in Naples, Florida.
Congratulations were in order for Jawann Swislow, the top undergraduate student, and for Rebecca Nerad, the top graduate student. Both were given the opportunity to address their peers.
A reception for families, friends and graduates followed at the Adirondack Ballroom at the Hilton Burlington Hotel.
