The Vermont Framework of Standards and Learning Opportunities includes economics standards as part of the social science standards. Go to sections 3.8 (Personal Economics) and 6.15-6.17 (Economics). Many economic principles and ways of thinking are also applicable to other portions of the Vermont Standards. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader (available for free) to read the Vermont Framework.

The National Council on Economic Education’s suggested standards includes a short annotated list of the 20 Voluntary National Content Standards.
