Employee Benefit Research Institute
States its mission as "to contribute to, to encourage, and to enhance the development of sound employee benefit programs and sound public policy through objective research and education." The site offers extensive analysis on Social Security Reform, discusses the issues related to 401(k) plans, and reports the results of EBRI researches. It also offers several on-line chapters of "Fundamentals of Employee Benefit Programs" book, covering Social Security and Medicare, Pension Plans and Hybrid Retirement Plans.
 
International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans
This site offers both IFEBP and industry news. Most importantly, it contains a very large database of links to other sites, covering virtually all major topics of benefit use, classified by categories. It also offers a thorough database of over 75,000 article summaries. However, you must pay a subscription fee or apply for a trial membership to access the articles.

BNA is the foremost publisher of print and electronic news, analysis, and reference products, providing intensive coverage of legal and regulatory developments for decision makers in business and government. Very reliable provider of objective employee benefits news, analysis, and guidance.  BNA also helps companies maintain compliance, assume responsibility for an ever widening range of pension programs, and advises clients and colleagues with confidence. BNA produces more than 200 news and information services, including the highly respected Daily Report for Executives and Daily Tax Report.
 
College and University Professional Association
The website offers the 2001-2002 Administrative Compensation Survey free to Association members, and at a fee for others. It also provides portions of the executive summary online. The survey contains salary information for a sample of institutions with comparable demographic characteristics, full-time equivalent enrollment, institutional structure, geographic region, budget, institutional affiliation, full-time equivalent administrative staff, and institutional classification.
