This is one of the better known sites for career information. It features articles on current career development topics, i.e., pros and cons of working from home or joining a new venture. It also provides excellent job search assistance. Especially interesting is their international job search map which lets you view jobs by area or country.
Publications- The Training Super Site
This "Training Super Site" has an especially interesting archive area where you can find abstracts of publications on various HR topics that can be ordered for a reasonable fee. Includes a job bank, research tools and company information. Their learning center takes you to on-line databases, conferences and courseware.
Self-assessment tools
This site contains a career development manual set up by the career services department at the University of Waterloo. While aimed at the new graduate, this site offers guidance through the career development process in the areas of self-assessment, occupational search, decision making, employment contacts, and work offers and acceptance that is useful to anyone seeking career planning advice. The manual concludes with a re-evaluation for those who have been in a specific job for a while. This section is useful to evaluate one?s overall job fulfillment by asking questions to make an individual reassess their current job status. Particularly interesting is their "steps" section that includes links to useful self-assessment tools.

Employee Selection and Development Inc.
At this site is a company that provides (for a fee) tests that HR managers can use to understand their applicants before they hire them, and also to test for areas that need to be developed in their present employees. Tests are offered on subjects like personality profile, basic aptitude tests, sales skills assessment, and integrity and work attitudes. On top of the tests offered, there are a few pages on how to hire and retain "power runners."
