Curriculum Audit Tracking System (CATS)
The MBA program is pleased to announce the implementation of the Curriculum Audit Tracking System (CATS). This tool will allow you to track your progress within the MBA program.
For instruction on how to use this tool. The Registrar's CATS Instructions
Please access and review your CATS report through your student information log in on the Registrar's web site.
Requirements
- Please pay great attention to the sections that are not completed and highlighted in red. All of these outstanding sections MUST be completed in order to receive your degree. Feel free to view the completed sections of the audit as they are considered satisfied.
- If there are outstanding requirements within the degree audit that you thought were otherwise already completed do not panic! This audit takes into account the direct rules of the Catalogue and does not include exceptions that may have been made.
Exceptions
The Associate Dean for Graduate Programs must approve all exceptions. If you have an approved exception but it is not recorded on your audit, please discuss this with Michael.Gurdon@uvm.edu. Please keep in mind that even after your exception has been approved, it may take 1-2 weeks to be updated within the system.
Note: Classes taken as CE before formal acceptance into the MBA program will not automatically be reflected in the degree audit. If CE classes are missing from your audit, please follow the instructions above.
Record Errors
The CATS report will not be accurate if your academic record is not correct on the system. Please review your online transcript and make sure it is up to date. Make appropriate changes through the online declaration page.
Future Semesters
CATS includes all courses that you are enrolled in, which may include the current semester and future semesters. The system assumes that you will successfully complete the courses and will use them to fulfill requirements. If you change any present/future schedule in the slightest (i.e. add/drop, fail or withdraw from a course) it will affect the audit. After any changes, please review your audit again!
Transfer Credit
CATS can't include courses that are not on your record, so please plan accordingly and receive prior approval for transfer credit to see how it will fit into your degree program. In addition, once the courses are completed, have an official transcript sent to Transfer Affairs so these hours may be included in your audit.
