To offer a high quality MBA degree that serves both in-career, part-time students and their employers in the Vermont region as well as select full-time students. Graduate MBA candidates develop knowledge to build on previous educational and professional experiences to address high-level organizational management issues.
Accolades for the MBA Program from the Princeton Review and the Aspen Institute
Top 15 in Operations in April 2009 Entrepreneur Magazine: According to a survey published in the April 2009 edition of Entrepreneur magazine, the master of business administration (MBA) program at The University of Vermont's School of Business Administration is one of the nation's best when it comes to preparing students to succeed in Operations Management.
Number 6 in the category of "Greatest Opportunity for Women": The School of Business Administration has been featured in the 2008 edition of the Princeton Review's "Best 290 Business Schools." We were recognized as number 6 in the category of "Greatest Opportunity for Women." The Princeton Review comments that "UVM can offer its MBA students all the personal attention they deserve."
Overall #78 (#75 in student opportunity, #63 in student exposure, #58 in course content, # 81 in faculty research: In addition, the Aspen Institute's Center for Business Education, which surveys 600 full-time MBA programs worldwide, has rated the School of Business Administration as number 78 in its integration of social and environmental topics into the curriculum and preparing our graduate students for social and environmental stewardship.
Number 14 in EXCELLENT Business Schools category as nationally strong and/or with continental links: three Palmes award from EDUNIVERSAL Palmes based on their official selection process querying 1,000 business school deans regarding "which business school(s) would you recommend to anyone wishing to study in North America?"
