The three hallmarks of the UVM MBA.
Quality
It takes a high quality faculty to deliver a high quality academic experience. Our faculty are actively involved in research, publishing regularly in leading academic journals and presenting at national and international professional meetings. Many of our faculty participate on editorial boards and 75% have authored or co-authored a book in their field. Faculty remain actively involved in the corporate world, shaping management practices through national and international consulting practices and research. Their experience means a world of learning for you.
Intimacy
With an average of fifteen students per class, you’ll have incredible access to your professors and get to know your classmates. Lively, open discussion is a hallmark of all the UVM MBA. You’ll be encouraged to share your experiences and point of view, and learn from those of your classmates.
Flexibility
The UVM MBA is the right choice for both the working professional and the full time student.
Two-thirds of our MBA students are full-time professionals. These part-time students have ranged from surgeons to managers of semiconductor manufacturing facilities, from classical musicians to directors of internet service providers. UVM understands the multiple pressures faced by working students and designed the program with a high degree of flexibility to meet these needs. Our MBA courses are offered in the evening or on "super-weekends", making it easier for full-time executives to balance the demands of career, education, and their personal lives.
The other third of our students are enrolled full-time to obtain their degree in two years or less. The evening class schedule allows for uninterrupted time day regular working hours during which students can focus on their studies, participate in internship opportunities, or focus on an independent research project.
Come visit us, meet our faculty, and speak with our students.
Sincerely,
Michael A. Gurdon, Ph.D.
